GENERAL

The protection of your personal data is of particular importance to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal provisions (GDPR, Austrian Telecommunications Act 2003). This website is operated by Strykerlabs, Nikolaiplatz 4/4/214, 8020 Graz, Austria. This notice describes how we, as the data controller, process your personal data.

PERSONAL DATA

Personal data is information about natural persons whose identity is determined or at least determinable (e.g., name, date of birth, address, email address, or IP address). You can visit our website without providing any personal information. However, when you visit and use our website, we may process the following data:

  • Usage data (e.g. websites visited, interest in content, access times, geotags, etc.)

  • Metadata/communication data (e.g. device information, IP addresses in anonymized form, etc.)

  • an anonymous cookie ID that does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about the IP address

1. PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING

We will process your personal data listed under point 2 for the purpose of conducting our business and fulfilling related legal and contractual requirements. We collect this data directly from you when you request a quote or visit our website (see point 7) and through cookies (see point 7.a). Providing your data is entirely voluntary.

2. PROCESSING DATA CATEGORIES AND LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

Strykerlabs stores and processes the personal data provided by prospective and existing customers for the purpose of creating offers, processing orders, and fulfilling the associated contractual and legal obligations (in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation). To comply with legal obligations, the data is also forwarded to authorities and public bodies.

3. TRANSFER OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

3.1

Yes, if the European Commission has confirmed an adequate level of data protection for this third country or other suitable data protection safeguards are in place (e.g., binding corporate rules or EU standard data protection clauses, only with the inclusion of a documented case-by-case assessment of the adequacy of the level of protection).

With your explicit consent, data may be transferred to a third country (Art. 49 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). We hereby inform you about the potential risks associated with any intended data transfer and the lack of appropriate data protection safeguards (section 4.1). We use various cookies and similar technologies (hereinafter referred to as "cookies") on our website, which may involve the processing of personal data by us and third-party providers. These third-party providers include Google LLC (for a detailed list, see Cookies from US providers), which is based in the USA and processes data there. The European Court of Justice has not certified the USA as having an adequate level of data protection. Therefore, there is a particular risk that your data may be accessed by US authorities for control and surveillance purposes, and that no effective legal remedies are available against this. Before we set cookies and transfer your data to these companies, we ask for your explicit consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR in conjunction with Art. 49 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) and inform you in detail about the corresponding data processing (in particular about the purposes, data categories and storage period). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by adjusting your preferences under "Cookie Settings" on our website. Furthermore, we would like to point out that we are working intensively on implementing (additional) suitable safeguards pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR as an alternative legal basis for these data transfers.

4. STORAGE TIME

Ihre personenbezogenen Daten werden von uns nur so lange aufbewahrt, wie des vernünftigerweise von uns als nötig erachtet wird, um die unter Punkt 1 genannten Zwecke zu erreichen und wie dies nach anwendbarem Recht zulässig ist. Wir speichern Ihre personenbezogenen Daten jedenfalls solange gesetzliche Aufbewahrungspflichten bestehen oder Verjährungsfristen potenzieller Rechtsansprüche noch nicht abgelaufen sind.

5. DATA SECURITY

Personal data is subject to data secrecy. The data must be treated confidentially and is protected against unauthorized access, unlawful manipulation or disclosure, as well as against loss and destruction, by appropriate organizational and technical measures.

6. YOUR RIGHTS RELATING TO PERSONAL DATA

Under applicable law, you are entitled (subject to the conditions of applicable law) to check whether and which of your data is stored, to receive copies of your data, to request the correction, completion, or deletion of your personal data that is incorrect or has not been processed lawfully, as well as to restrict the processing of your personal data. Under certain circumstances, you also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data or to withdraw your previously given consent to processing, to request data portability, to know the identity of third parties to whom your personal data is transferred, and to lodge a complaint with the competent authority.

7. WEBSITE & COOKIES

We will only retain your personal data for as long as we reasonably deem necessary to achieve the purposes stated in point 1 and as permitted by applicable law. In any case, we will store your personal data for as long as statutory retention obligations exist or the limitation periods for potential legal claims have not yet expired.

8. NEWSLETTER

We use the information you provided when subscribing to our newsletter (name and email address) to keep you regularly informed about company news and current offers. If you no longer wish to receive the newsletter, you can unsubscribe at any time. You can do this by using the unsubscribe link included in every email.

9. SOCIAL MEDIA

For marketing purposes and as communication channels, Strykerlabs uses the following social networks and maintains profiles there: (Expand/delete as appropriate)

Our website contains links that will take you directly to the respective Strykerlabs profiles. These links are identifiable by their logos and are only activated when you click on them. Simply visiting the Strykerlabs website does not result in any data being transferred.

10. DATA PROTECTION DECLARATION FOR GOOGLE ANALYTICS

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies," which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. We process your data based on our overriding legitimate interest in creating easy-to-use and cost-effective website access statistics (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address and the URLs of the pages you visit) is transmitted to and stored on Google servers in the USA. We do not store any of your data collected in connection with Google Analytics.

This website uses the IP anonymization feature offered by Google Analytics. Therefore, your IP address is shortened/anonymized by Google as soon as Google receives it. On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide us with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
